Dairy Cattle (39)
The trade has been slowing down considerably over the previous month and today was more of the same. Not the best show of dairy cattle admittedly but there were some entries that could be considered bargains. Top price of the day was £1950 for a second calf cow from Williams, Llwynbychan and top price heifer was Penrikka Rampage Marina 2. She was from the excellent prize winning family from the Penrikka herd of Geoff and Jean Williams at Penygenhill. With five generations VG and Excellent dams behind her with excellent milk records and long production lives she was giving 7 gallons and was one of the real bargains at £1880.
